OHP Troopers To Conduct No Refusal Operation During Holiday

ARDMORE, OK -- Troopers say the Fourth of July holiday is a "no refusal" weekend, meaning drivers who refuse a breathalyzer could still be tested for blood alcohol levels.

According to troopers with Troop F in Ardmore, troopers will have no tolerance for speeding, failure to wear a seatbelt, and drunk driving while out on the roads through Sunday.

Troopers plan to work throughout the holiday weekend conducting a no refusal operation throughout these counties.

Those arrested for drunk driving will be asked to take a chemical test if they refuse a breathalyzer or blood test, according to a news release.

Troop F covers Carter, Love, Garvin, Murray, Pontotoc, Johnston and Marshall counties in Oklahoma.
