ARDMORE -- Ardmore Police Chief Keith Mann and Deputy Chief Eric Hamblin have been relieved of their duties pending an investigation. Officers in the department tell KTEN News they received an e-mail informing them of the move this afternoon.

Ardmore City Manager J.D. Spohn issued a statement saying Capt. Kevin Noriss, a 16-year veteran with the department, will be stepping in as acting chief of police.

Spohn said, "This is a temporary assignment pending the completion of an on-going administrative review of various operational aspects of the Ardmore police department."

No other details concerning the investigation were released.

KTEN reached out to Deputy Chief Hamblin on Tuesday. He said he was unable to comment.
