With the hot summer temperatures, working out can really drain your body of much needed hydration. But which is better, water, sports drinks, soda or juice? It depends. KTEN Health and Fitness contributor, Teresa Hall of Nautilus, says always avoid the soda, even diet. Juice is also extra calories. Depending on how hard your work out and for how long, you might want to stick with water, especially if you're trying to lose weight. With about 250 calories per sports drink bottle, that could be the difference in another 30 minutes to an hour in the gym burning off those calories.
