ARDMORE, OK-- An Ardmore woman died after being found unconscious in a health center's pool, Wednesday afternoon.

It happened just after 4 o'clock at the Chickasaw Nation Wellness Center in Ardmore.

Officials with the Chickasaw Nation say Edythe Elaine Frank, 62 or Ardmore, was unconscious when she was pulled out of the pool.

An off-duty emergency medical technician and an off-duty nurse started CPR while a member of the staff called 9-1-1.

Mrs Frank was still unresponsive when the ambulance arrived. She was later pronounced dead at an Ardmore hospital.

Her cause of death has not been determined.

Lighthorse police are still investigating.
