The Durant Area Chamber ofCommerce and the Choctaw Casino Resort are excited to announce the dates forthe 17th Annual Magnolia Festival of Oklahoma.

Family fun begins at the 2013 Magnolia Festival, May 29thru June 1 at the Choctaw Event Center 3702 Choctaw Rd in Durant, OK. Thecarnival opens nightly at 5:00 pm, with the exception of early openings onFriday and Saturday.  Armband night isevery night and Saturday for $20.  Boothsand food vendors open at 5:00 pm on Wednesday and 10:00 am Thursday, Friday andSaturday, they close nightly at 10:00 pm.

 Live entertainment each night beginningWednesday, May 29 at 7:30 pm with Gospel night featuring Gold City and LeFevreQuartet. Thursday 6:30 pm features our opening ceremonies honoring communityleaders followed by the KLBC Texaco Showdown, Friday 6:00 pm it's the ChoctawDancers followed by Curtis Grimes at 8:00 pm. Saturday we start early at 2:00 pmwith Morris McCann (outside stage) and the announcement we have all beenwaiting for, the winners of Red vs Blue Trash-Off, 5:00 pm the Fetch-N-Fish DogShow and our very first Red River Noodling weigh-in at 6:00 pm, at 8:30 pmStephen Pride will perform on the inside stage. Thursday will feature theMagnolia Festival Art Show opening at 10:00 am. Saturday is filled with a children'sparade, turtle races and much more.
