DENISON, TX -- The clock turned back about 50 years in the Denison High School parking lot today.

Dozens of classic cars were on display for the 24th Annual Texoma Vintage/Classic Car and Truck Show. Awards were given out in various categories of car from different decades and models.

Organizers say entry fees also raised $3,300 for a fund to help the family of fallen Deputy Chad Key.

"We had a total of about 175 cars today which is a good turnout and we normally have  a good turnout but I think this year's been really well," says club president Scott Renfro.

The car club meets each month and has dozens of members who enjoy talking about cars. Many of them spend long hours restoring old cars until they look just like new.
