SHERMAN, TX -- Three school bonds and several city and school board races went to the voters in North Texas.

In Sherman, two school board seats were contested, one resulting in an upset, while the incumbent held her seat in the other.

On Saturday around midday, we found about 60 voters had already showed up at Piner Middle School, but only three voters came to the polling place at Crutchfield Elementary School.

Voters in Tom Bean approved a $10 million building proposal, but similar bonds were defeated in both Whitesboro and Ivanhoe.
