POTTSBORO, TX -- Three Pottsboro standouts signed their letters of intent to compete at the colligate level Tuesday morning.
Cardinal wide out Dallas Sewell will head to East Texas Baptist in Marshall to play Division-III ball while quarterback Tanner Frye will be part of a new program at Hendrix College.
He won't be alone in Conway.
Lady Cardinal basketball star Casey Evans will also head to Hendrix. Her work will be done on the hardwood.
All three are excited about the opportunity.
"I really loved the campus, it's really nice. Their offense fit me well, I thought. So it's a good fit for me," Sewell said.
"Just getting the chance to play for the coaches that are up there and knowing that they're excited for me to be up there and getting the opportunity to go on to the next level," Evans said.
"Just the chance to get to play again. You know, we're starting a new program, first time in 53 years at Hendrix. So being a part of that history will be a great experience," Frye concluded.
