CARTER COUNTY, OK--Police are looking for the driver of a car that was found wrecked on U.S. Highway 77 in springer.

It happened at about 2:00 P.M. Monday Afternoon. The vehicle was traveling southbound on 77 coming into Ardmore when the driver drove off to the right side of the highway, and flipped the car.
    

Troopers said when they arrived, the driver was not on the scene and they believe alcohol may have played a factor.

"We do believe that the driver is under the influence of alcohol, due to the evidence that we located in the vehicle such as open containers and prescription medication," said OHP Trooper Brian Quinn.

OHP officials said Ardmore police are investigating
