Monday on Good Morning Texoma,  Lisanne sat down to have a serious discussion about the issue of child abuse with local author and advocate Jenna Quinn.

Quinn has made it her mission to use her own story as a way to reach out to others to hopefully prevent another child from being abused. She's written the book "Jenna's Law, A Voice for the Voiceless".  Her name and her story were also used in a Texas bill signed by Governor Rick Perry back in 2009 called "Jenna's Law" it's an effort to educate communities on warning signs and how to get help.

If you suspect abuse, or are victim to abuse you can get help.

Call the CPS Hotine : 1-800-252-5400
