SULPHUR, OK -- A couple Oklahoma Class 3A champion Sulphur Lady Bulldogs signed their letters of intent Monday.
Tierani Richardson and Ebony Harrison will both head to Tishomingo to play for coach Crystal Robinson and the Murray State College Aggies.
Richardson, a 5'4 shooting guard, plans to major in accounting and minor in Spanish.
She says even though she's not the biggest girl out there, she hopes to make a big impact and knows the Murray State coaches can help her do that.
"I chose Murray State because coach Robinson and coach Daniels have wanted me since day one. They don't see my height as a setback they see it as an advantage. And they can work with me and get me better so I can maybe go somewhere bigger in the end," she said.
Harrison plans to major in nursing. She chose Murray State over Oklahoma Baptist, Langston and St. Gregory's.
She's most excited about being with all her new teammates and to play under a legend like Robinson.
"Just like being a little bit closer to home and then like having someone to coach me from where I'm from, that's pretty exciting too. She's done a lot of good things in her career so I know she can teach me well and help me move on to the next level," she added.
Richardson and Harrison will be roommates and they hope to bring their winning chemistry to the court in Tishomingo next season.
