    DENISON, TX -- A Durant man is behind bars after police say he stole a pickup and slammed it into a fence. Police say Jimmy Crow, 46, hot-wired the truck in Denison before crashing into a utility pole. DENISON -- The Denison police department has released additional information on a drive-by shooting outside a night club Saturday night.

According to police, On March 30, 2013, just prior to midnight, police officers responded to a night club in the 3500 block of North State Highway 91 on a report of a shooting. "According to information obtained at the scene, some individuals wanted to go to the night club, but one of the passengers in the vehicle with these individuals was under age so someone was contacted to come to the location and pick up the under age child. While two individuals were waiting outside of the night club with the under age child, a vehicle, only described as being a gray in color, mid-size passenger car, drove by the club southbound on State Highway 91 and an unknown suspect(s) inside this vehicle allegedly fired several shots in the direction of the night club. Two vehicles in the parking lot of the night club were struck, as well as the under age child being struck in the thigh.  No other injuries were reported. The child victim was flown by air ambulance to a Dallas area hospital for treatment.  Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The Denison Police Department is requesting that anyone who has information regarding this shooting to contact the Department at 903-465-2422.  "We are using all of our resources to find the person or persons responsible for this shooting and we are requesting for anyone that has any information on this to please come forward" said Denison Police Chief Jay Burch."

DENISON -- Police are investigating a shooting at a bar that left one victim injured.

It happened around midnight at El 69 Club in the 3500 block of Highway 91 North, near Highway 75. A medical helicopter was called in and landed on the roadway near a Shell station.

The victim was flown to the hospital. The road just south of the club along with the parking lot was blocked off with police tape.

Denison Police and Grayson County Sheriff's Office responded to investigate the possible drive-by shooting. Authorities advised several drivers to use alternate routes.
