Grayson Co. Concert Goes All Evening Long

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- After a week of lambs and pigs, a different breed turned out to one area venue: music lovers.

Several local bands have been playing all Saturday evening at Loy Lake Park, where the Livestock Exposition just wrapped up Friday.

Organizer JR Gallier says profits will go to Jody Willoughby, 35, of Savoy, a Texoma Medical Center accounting department employee suffering from ovarian cancer.

"It's been an incredible blessing, not only for Jody, but for everyone else that they've benefited," says Jody's father Mike Catchings. "Talking with JR, they've got plans to increase the size of the benefit over the next number of years and to be able to help more people."

Willoughby had surgery and is set for another round of chemotherapy, but Catchings says her prognosis is good. This is the fourth time the Po Boys Picnic has been held in the past two years.
