ARDMORE, OK-- Dusty Hodge is the regional vice president for Leslie's pool supplies and
says opening a Leslie's in Ardmore was long overdue.
"We feel like the Ardmore customer base is already shopping with us in
some of the Oklahoma stores and Dallas Fort Worth stores, so we thought we'd
bring the flavor to the Ardmore area. We bring the knowledge, the trade, the
quality products; we bring all that here to make it more convenient," said
Hodge
Customer Tim McCann says his family noticed the new pool supply store and
couldn't wait until it opened.
"We were coming to the movies one day and the kids said look there's a new
pool place can we go, and of course it wasn't opened yet, and now here we are,"
said Customer Tim McCann.
With the opening of Leslie's pool supplies here in Ardmore, customers no longer
have to travel to long distances such as Dallas or Oklahoma City to get their
pool supplies similar to this one.
"Regionally there are a lot of pools in this area, not just in the Ardmore
area, so we think by putting a store here that we could help folks make it more
convenient for when they're having pool problems. They can come to Leslie's and
we're a lot more convenient than maybe Oklahoma City, Lawton, or Dallas Fort
Worth," said Hodge.
Customer Coby Leflore says he's excited to have a place to shop with his family
that offers variety.
"I'm excited about new pool stuff, new floats and other stuff I guess," said customer Coby Leflore.
