GAINESVILLE, TX--- Gainesville police have made five arrests in connection with a burglary that occurred in the 4600 block of North Interstate 35. The burglary was reported to police last Friday morning.

What started as a week of fun for Corey Bayer and his family, ended as a week of shock and stress.
He said the high from their spring break vacation quickly wore off when they came home to find their house completely ransacked.

"I got out of the pickup truck and walked into the house and as I walked into the house, I looked down the end of the hallway and there was stuff just strung out onto the floor," Bayer said.

He said pricey electronics, rifles, more than $3,000 in cash and his great-aunt's wedding dress were just some of the missing items.

"I sat there and I looked around and I was like this really didn't happen," Bayer said. "I thought I was dreaming. I was just shocked that it had happened."

Checkbooks belonging to his great-aunt were also reported missing.

"Officers responded to Prosperity Bank Friday morning and located a suspect that was in possession of checks that were taken in a residential burglary and arrested them," Gainesville police officer Tom Reyonlds said.

Police said the suspect arrested was 25-year-old Teteryon Trammell for forgery and fraudulent use/possession of identifying information.

"After that arrest, two other locations were surveilled," Reyonlds said.

Reynolds said officers maintained surveillance of the two locations in anticipation of a search and seizure warrant, as well as arrest warrants for several individuals involved with the burglary.

Police said they arrested 28-year-old Bethany Bryan after she left the first location.
Bryan was booked for driving with an invalid license and possession of a controlled substance.

Police then arrested 33-year-old Dustin Beck and 25-year-old Savanah Chadick after they were found leaving the second location. Both Beck and Chadick were both arrested on warrants for burglary of a habitation and for possession of a controlled substance.

Once search warrants were signed, officers said the Gainesville Police Department and the Cooke County Sheriff's Office recovered some of the stolen property and in addition, 44-year-old Richard Dean Story was arrested during the search. Dean was arrested for the possession of a controlled substance.

As of 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, Trammell, Beck and Chadwick are still being held in Cooke County Jail. Bryan and Story have bonded out.

The Gainesville Police Department is still investigating and officers said arrest warrants have been issued for other suspects in connection with the burglary.
