Woman stabbed at home near Bells


GRAYSON CO. -- According to the Grayson County Sheriff's Office, Tuesday night around 9:15 p.m. Grayson County dispatch received a call in reference to a disturbance/stabbing. "Once deputies and EMS arrived a 44 year old woman from Colorado was transported to Texoma Medical Center in Denison.  The female is being treated for multiple stab wounds to her buttock/upper leg area.  The female is still at TMC and medical personnel are treating her non-life threatening wounds."

"Early reports indicate that the female from Colorado was visiting a friend off highway 69 near Bells, Texas.  The home owner, a 48 year old female had been drinking and got into an argument with the woman from Colorado.  The two began to fight inside the home.  The home owners son (12 years old) entered the room and began to "protect his mother" by stabbing female with a pocket knife."

"The case is under investigation and no arrests have been made at this time. Children's Protective Services was called to the scene and they will conduct a separate investigation."
