ARDMORE, OK--  Some Ardmore children got treated to a fun lesson on reading and proper etiquette by a famous children's book character.

A few fancy little people got together today at the Chickasaw Library in Ardmore for a tea party with Fancy Nancy.

After a few lessons in French and a note or two in etiquette. The little ones dined in style at the "Fancy Nancy" tea party based on the popular series of Fancy Nancy children's books.

Some of the parents who attended shared in the excitement and they even learned a few things.

This and other children's programs at the library show little ones that reading can be loads of fancy fun.

The next children's event will take place on March 5, 2012. Children will have the chance to enjoy fun from the "Captain Underpants" book series.
