TISHOMINGO, OK-- A town hall was held in Tishomingo today with a recently elected Oklahoma representative.

Congressmen Mark-Wayne Mullin met with residents at mMrray State College this afternoon.

Today's town hall is one of nine events set to take place this week in southern Oklahoma.

Congressman mullin talked to residents about issues affecting Oklahomans including gun control and immigration.

"If we could start working together on a foundation of being an American first then we can start working on limiting the role of government and getting this country back in control for the generations behind us. Which includes my kids, your kids, and grand kids," Congressmen Mullin said.
