Local educators plan to take part in a rally in Austin hosted by a group called Save Texas Schools. Friday morning on Good Morning Texoma, Lisanne sat down for a chat with Sonna Voight, the President of the Denison Classroom Teachers Association, to learn more about why teachers are rallying, what budget cuts have meant for kids in the classroom and how you can be part of what they say has the potential to make a positive difference in lives of our children.

Save Texas Schools bus meet at Denison Wal-Mart parking lot at 5am

March at Texas State Capital in Austin at 10:30am
