CARTER COUNTY, OK-- The killing of 23-year-old Jeremy Kildow has been ruled self defense by district attorney Craig Ladd.
"There seems to be viable defense, defense of others and self defense. Consequently I don't think the evidence is sufficient for me to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was not acting in self defense or in the defense of others," Ladd said.
Kildow was stabbed by his brother in self defense on January 25th.
Sheriff Ken Grace said Kildow was found in a field in front of his home, Where he collapsed after the stabbing.
Ladd says there was enough evidence to rule the case as self defense.
