Sherman's Kahlee Woods chooses Texas Tech - KTEN.com - No One Gets You Closer

SHERMAN, TX -- Sherman senior linebacker Kahlee Woods has decided he will ink with Texas Tech just two days before National Signing Day.

Woods told us over the phone he chose Tech over North Texas because of their pre-dentistry program.

Initially Tech was going to gray shirt him, meaning he would sign on Wednesday but not be able to join the Red Raiders until mid-year, but after a visit over the weekend and then a phone call Tuesday he was offered a full-ride.

Woods will sign Wednesday at 9 a.m.
