TEXOMA --  Spring is around the corner and with the season typically comes an increase in severe weather across Texoma.

Classes are being provided by the National Weather Service to help people in Texoma relay accurate storm reports. In the class you will learn what information you need to report and how to better identify the severe weather the storm can produce.  Each class is free and open to the public.

Storm reports can be given to our Skyalert Weather Watchers facebook page or by e-mail to newsteam@kten.com. Our Skyalert Weather Team can then relay those reports on to the National Weather Service for you or you can tell them directly yourself (you will be given that information in the class).

Classes are offered in several locations:

Wednesday -- February 6, 2013 in Gainesville, TX at the Gainesville Civic Center from 7-9pm.

Thursday -- February 7, 2013 in  Denison, TX at Grayson County College Workplace Learning Center from 7-9pm.

Thursday -- February 7, 2013 in Bonham, TX at the Bonham High School Cafeteria from 7-9pm.

Tuesday -- March 5, 2013 in Tishomingo, OK at the Murray State College starting at 6:30pm.

Saturday -- March 16, 2013 in Ardmore, OK at the Ardmore Convention Center starting at 10am.
