CADDO, OK - Police say a man who is considered armed and dangerous is on the run in Caddo tonight, after he was pulled over in a stolen car.

It all started when police say a man got out of his car in Caddo and ran from a traffic stop into a wooded area across from a convenience store.

He's believed to have a 9 millimeter pistol.

It happened around 5:00p.m. across the street from the Superette in Caddo.

Caddo Police Chief, Cody Borckhardt, says 26 year old Randy Locklier is considered armed and dangerous.

We spoke to a man who lives several miles away near Armstrong.

He says earlier in the day, that same green car dropped off two men in front of his house out in the country.

He says the two men told him they had run out of gas miles away on the highway when the green car picked them up.

The man's wife gave the lost travelers a lift back to their car on the highway.

Police say the same green car that ditched the travelers is apparently the one they later pulled over.

Police are still looking for the man in the green car.
