ARDMORE, OK-- Deteriorating water lines in Ardmore are now being replaced thanks to the recent renewal of the GAPS Tax which Ardmore residents voted on in the 2012 elections.
The city is currently replacing water lines on the northwest side of the city. Crews will replace over five thousand feet of water lines.
City officials say once the project is complete the quality and flow of tap water will improve.
The project started at the end of 2012 and should be complete by May, after which, the city will begin working on other major projects.
We will continue to follow the progress of this and other City of Ardmore projects.
