Durant College Students Get Warning Message

DURANT, OK -- Students at Southeastern Oklahoma State University got a warning that one student is not allowed on the campus.

Campus police posted flyers all over campus asking students be on the lookout for Qualin Hayden. School officials say the freshman was temporarily suspended following an alleged physical confrontation at a residence hall.

"We had an individual who had been allegedly involved in an situation on campus earlier this week, and they had also received some information that this individual might return to campus," says spokesman Alan Burton.

Students got voice-mails and text messages from the school Thursday night urging them to call campus police if they see Hayden. School officials say the SE Alert message is set up to warn students in these types of situations, but there is no immediate threat.
