ARDMORE, OK --  One  Plainview school did away with textbooks for a week to "Go Green" and get creative.

Teachers and students at Plainview Middle School were issued a big challenge this week to go completely "Green".

Each teacher planned a week's worth of lessons limiting the use of paper, pencils, and textbooks. Teachers utilized project, experiment, and technology based instruction and students welcomed the change!

Green week gave students and teachers the opportunity to experiment with some new gadgets .

According to the middle school principal, Tim Parham,  "Green Week" was a success helped students and teachers take a look at the creative future of education.
