DENISON, TX -- A two-vehicle accident sent two people to the hospital, after two pickup trucks collided on a busy street.

The crash happened around 1 p.m. in front of Burger King on West Morton Street near Highway 75.

It appears a white plumber's truck ran into the back of a green Dodge pick-up truck, according to an officer on scene. A worker rushed from a nearby car wash to check on the driver of the pick-up, who told him that she was pregnant.

"The guy in the white truck he got out he seemed to be okay," says witness Desmond Baker. "It looked like he had a cut on his hand. The young lady in the green truck, she was conscious she was talking back to us, she was letting us know where she was hurting at, in her back. She also told us she was pregnant."

Both drivers were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Tow trucks removed the truck from the road and it was soon back open.
