DURANT, OK -- Three senior Lady Lion softball players inked their letters of intent to play for coach Brent Shaw and the Murray State College Aggies.
Outfielder MacKenzi Clapp, first baseman Colby Holder and pitcher Kailyn Ward all agree MSC is a great fit because of it's academic standards and proximity to home.
They all also believe their coaches and teachers at Durant High School have them well-prepared for this next step, and are excited to be taking it together.
"It makes me feel a lot more content, like happy I get to go play with the girls I recently played with," Ward said. "I love them to death, and I just can't wait to be on the field with them again."
"It's nice knowing that we already get a long and will be able to play well as a team," Holder added.
"It feels really good because we did really good in our season," concluded Clapp.
