Stephanie Rivas - KTEN.com - No One Gets You Closer

Stephanie Rivas joined the KTEN news team in January 2013. As a recent graduate from the University of North Texas, Stephanie is super excited to begin her career at KTEN.

Stephanie was born in New York, but do not call her a New Yorker because she was raised in Texas. She is fluent in Spanish and loves to dance salsa! Stephanie has a very diverse background and will listen to any genre of music.

Stephanie knew she wanted to be a reporter as a young girl. She thought she wanted to be a famous singer like Selena, but decided to become a reporter instead when she found out she could not sing.

While in college, Stephanie anchored, produced and reported for Denton Community Television, NT Daily and NT Daily en Espanol.
