SHERMAN, TX -- Sherman Police say an attempted armed robbery over the weekend, looks like it was a set up.

It happened just before 10:00 Saturday morning in the 1200 block of South Travis Street.

Police say Tambernetta Jones and Christopher Kemp tried to rob a man when he showed up at their house.

They say Kemp held a gun to the victim and they struggled.

Several shots were fired, but the victim was able to escape outside the house.

Kemp and Jones were arrested for aggravated robbery and several other narcotics charges.

The victim received only minor injuries during the fight.

No one was shot during this incident.
