DENISON, TX - Denison Police say a woman who drove her car off the spur 503 exit Friday night is lucky to be alive, but she's going to jail.

Police say she went off the 503 loop to the left and flipped her car several times.

They say it's a miracle she was able to walk away, but she did so in hand cuffs, because that wasn't the only accident she caused Friday night.

Police say that accident happened around 7:00 p.m. Friday night, after the woman fled the scene of another accident at the corner of 75 North and Morton Street.

They say she had hit two cars there and took off.

Those drivers were not hurt.

Investigators say she appeared to be intoxicated and failed field sobriety tests.

"She could be facing a lot of attorney fees, legal fees, time in jail. It's going to be determined by the court system," said Lt. Jeff Camp.

Denison Police and Fire Fighters were on scene searching the area to make sure there were no passengers.

They say fortunately no one was hurt.
