GRAYSON CO, TX - DUI charges have been filed against country music star Randy Travis in connection with his arrest in Grayson County last summer. 

Travis was taken into custody August 7th after authorities say he was involved in a traffic accident . 

Toxicology reports show Travis had a blood-alcohol content of more than 0.15. 

The charge is a class-A misdemeanor.  If he's convicted Travis could get up to 2 years in jail and a $4,000 fine. 

Grayson County D.A. Joe Brown says now that the charge has been filed they can move forward with court proceedings. So far no court date has been set.
