ARDMORE, OK -- Mercy Hospital in Ardmore is celebrating the recent success of some of their nurses.
Eleven mercy nurses just completed their Bachelor of Science Degrees in nursing with four of the nurses receiving top honors from Oklahoma City University
The nurses participated in a fast paced intensive study program where they were able to complete their course work, testing, and clinical work onsite all while working at Mercy in Ardmore.
Nurses who completed their programs say they are excited to apply the knowledge they've gained immediately in their current positions.
The number of nurses and staff members completing advanced degrees at Mercy while working is increasing. Mercy even has scholarship programs and partnerships to help encourage continued education.
