DENISON, TX -- Even as many people stayed inside out of the cold, some kids went out to check out the snow and sled down a hill.

Parents watched several kids sledding at a hill at Waterloo Park on Tuesday night.  The storm left about two inches of snow, enough to coat the grass and make for some good sliding.

Most businesses were closed for Christmas and there was little traffic on the roads throughout much of the day. The snow stopped in the afternoon and the storm moved out of the area.
