The Rankin Brothers, voted Branson, Missouri's "Best Show", are bringing their Classic Christmas Show Tour to Sherman on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 8 p.m. The performance will be held in the Kidd-Key Auditorium at 400 N. Elm in Sherman, Texas.

Known for recreating the magic of legendary performers such as Neil Diamond, Frank Sinatra, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beatles, plus many more, the event will feature Mark and Matt Rankins' trademark Branson performances. "We are bringing Branson to Sherman," said Larry Rankin, manager.

The first half of the Christmas show will feature impressions of favorite old-time rock-n-roll tunes, followed by renditions of classic Christmas songs from Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams, Nat King Cole, Burl Ives, Harry Connick, Jr. and others.

Originally from North Texas, the Rankin Brothers look forward to returning home. From the Peanut Festival in Whitesboro to performances at special events in Sherman and Gainesville, the brothers have traveled Texoma. "It is always fun and exciting to come home. We have been to Garland, Grapevine and Arlington. Every time we go to Garland it is a sell out," said Larry Rankin. "They love to play to the Texas crowds."

In 2002, Mark and Matt started producing their own show, "The Rankin Brothers ‘50s & ‘60s Rock-N-Roll Tribute," which they have performed at numerous theaters. With Matt on guitar and Mark on bass, as well as featuring other talented band members, the show is recommended for all ages. "They love to deliver family shows that you can bring anybody to," said Larry Rankin. "They enjoy creating new fans and our audience seems to be getting younger all the time."

In 2008, the brothers were awarded Branson's Best New Show, Best Duo Act, and Best Male Entertainer. Since then, The Rankin Brothers have been awarded Branson's Best Show four years in a row!

The Rankin Brothers, their talented cast of three female vocalists (The Rankinettes) and their all-star band regularly perform at the Clay Cooper Theatre, located on the famed 76 strip across from the Titanic in Branson. Video previews are on the website, RankinBrothers.com.
