Women`s Gift Exchange Features "Blonde Moment" Cookbooks And Fun


Ever had a "blond moment?" Lisanne did Thursday on KTEN News Midday. We sat down to chat with chef and author Debbie Thornton and boy did they get to giggling and having fun!

Debbie is the author or multiple cook books including "Any Blonde Can Cook - Two hundred 69 Ways To a Man's Heart".  Debbie will be at the Women's Gift Exchange event at Kelly Square in Sherman from 4pm until 7pm  Thursday December 6th.

The event is to raise money for Grayson County Home Hospice. You'll find all kinds of crafts, goodies and items perfect for holiday gift giving.

The Women's Gift Exchange is Sherman is a member of the National Federation of the Woman's Gift Exchange, a consortium of gift shops initially established to provide an outlet for women to sell their handcrafted goods. The founding of the first Woman's Gift Exchange in Philadelphia in 1832 marked the beginning of what is the oldest continuously operating woman's movement in the country.
