WHITEWRIGHT, TX --Whitewright head coach and athletic director Jack Wylie has stepped down from his post after two years at the helm.
We spoke with him on the phone and he says he's blessed to be at Whitewright, but after 25 years in coaching he'd like to spend more time with his family.
He adds he loves coaching and after praying about it made his decision.
He has no plans as of now but hopes to stay on at the school in some capacity.
Meanwhile, Wylie will continue to fill the role of athletic director until the position is filled and will still coach girls track in the spring.
