ARDMORE, OK -- The Plainview Indians won't have the privilege of playing on their home field Friday, but in last week's first round match up they did and were able to put up six scores in the first half en route to a big time win.
This week the competition gets harder as they head two hours down the road to Seminole to take on one of the most tradition rich teams in the state.
Head coach Chris Berus says that Chieftan winning tradition is something Plainview is getting closer to achieving.
"It's a great measuring stick for our program. Because, we hope that we're growing in that direction. From my standpoint, I've been at some good programs and we want our program to mimic the great ones here in the state," he said.
Kick-off from Seminole at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
