Armed Robbery in Sherman


Sherman, TX - Police need your help finding man who they say robbed a gas station in Sherman.  Police say the man showed a gun to the clerk and then demanded money.  It happened at the Valero on FM1417 in south Sherman. Police say thankfully, no one was hurt during the robbery, but the suspect did get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

At this point the surveillance footage isn't available.  But police do have a description of the suspect. They say he's a white male with a slender build about 5'7" wearing a black ball cap a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

"I don't know whether anyone else was in the store, but their was nobody hurt," said Sherman Sgt. D.M. Hampton.  "There was no shot's fired. Like i said, he just displayed the firearm to the clerk and then demanded the money so smartly the clerk gave the money up and let the guy get out."
