LEWISVILLE, TX - A Texoma man is dead after he was shot by police in the Dallas area early Thursday morning.  Officers say 31-year-old Roger Preston Hamill of Durant was killed near the Vista Ridge Mall. It happened shortly after they say Hamill walked up to a McDonalds drive-thru and threatened a customer then drove off. When police caught up to him, they say he threatened them with a weapon and he was killed by an officer. Investigators say they don't believe Hamill knew the McDonalds customer that he threatened.
