DENISON, TX -- The Denison Yellow Jackets showed some poise and resiliency bouncing back after a 14-0 hole early against Sherman
Coach Chad Rogers kept his Jackets motivated and determined to pull off the upset.
They weren't so fortunate after some costly turnovers and giving up a few big plays, but their heads are up as they push forward through district play.
"We still got five games left in the regular season, we still got a lot of things in our own destiny, in our own control and we told them on Saturday worry about the things you can control. You can't control last night's game or Friday night's game, all we can control is our attitude for practice from here on out," he said.
Denison will hit the road for Royse City Friday.
