JOHNSTON CO, OK -- A missing hunter in Tishomingo is found after more than a 12 hour search.

Archery deer season kicks off October 1st and a group of hunters were setting up camp Saturday night at the Blue River recreation area in Johnston County. Authorities tell us one of the hunters went to check on a deer stand just before dark and lost his way. It was a cold and rainy night, but he was able to find some shelter until morning.

"Sometime during the night he had found an abandoned trailer and got some type of shelter in it," says Captain, Tishomingo Fire Department.

The missing man found a road at day break and continued to follow it until he met up with search crews. He suffered minor scrapes.
