ARDMORE, OK -- An Ardmore man was killed in an accident involving a forklift late Thursday morning.
First responders rushed to Flanders Filters near the intersection of Highways 77 and 70 around 11 AM Thursday. They found a 41 year old man and he was taken to Mercy Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officials are still working to notify his family, so his name is not being released.
OSHA will conduct an investigation, but the situation is currently being called an accident.
"I felt a calling to get up and do something... stand up and act," Andrew Needum told reporters.
