GORDONVILLE, TX - An accident in Grayson County sent two people to the hospital tonight.  It happened around 6:30pm this evening in the town of Gordonville on Highway 377 at Denton road.  Troopers say the driver of the car was trying to pass the semi truck, realized he wasn't going to make it, and as he tried to get back in his lane he clipped the semi causing the wreck. Despite the severe damage to the car, the driver only suffered a broken ankle.

"He's a lucky man,"  said Texas State Trooper Shannon Smith.  "The only area of the vehicle that wasn't impacted was the drivers area so."

The driver of the car was flown to Plano Medical Center as a precaution. The driver of the semi truck was taken to Wilson and Jones in Sherman with minor injuries.
