ARDMORE, OK -- The Eastside Cafe and it owner got a little hot after having two air conditioners stolen.
The cafe's owner says the units were stolen Monday morning before the restaurant opened. An employee came by to get a key for a gas station that he also owns, and the air conditioners were still there. But the employee says when he came back less than an hour later, the units were gone.
"We paid about five thousand dollars for them to replace them. So you can see, they don't realize what they are doing. I hope maybe this thing should be stopped," said Rizwan "Jonni" Zafar, the cafe owner.
The Ardmore Police are still investigating, and note that the power supply cables for the air conditioners had been cut.
