HENDRIX, OK -- Family and friends turned out to help one woman celebrate a very big birthday.
Longtime resident Elzoria Dean is turning 101 and the Hendrix Community Center was packed for her party on Saturday afternoon.
Dean has lived in Hendrix all of her life, raised four children, and worked for many years. She tells us that faith in God is important to her and has helped her throughout her life.
The party brings together relatives from all over to wish her a happy birthday. Dean's daughter says she has about 50 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
