ELMORE CITY, OK -- The dismembered remains of a body were found in the pond of Justin Hammer, the Elmore City man currently accused of murder.

The Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation says that it found the remains late Thursday night after draining the pond on Hammer's property. Hammer, age thirty, was arrested near his home early Thursday morning, accused of murdering his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend.

Authorities say they were alerted to the crime after a witness came forward claiming that Hammer confessed his grizzly crime to the witness. After obtaining a search warrant, police found evidence of the crime in his home, including blood smears. OSBI says Hammer admitted to putting the body pieces into buckets of cement and then into the pond after he was arrested. Hammer is being held in the Garvin County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
