Anthony Maisel General Manager for KTEN Media in Texoma announced the hiring of Tom Crespo as News Director and News Anchor of the Monday thru Friday evening newscasts on KTEN. "Tom and I have worked together before and joins KTEN from KXII." "I'm pleased to have the opportunity to work with Tom. We worked together in Jacksonville, Florida Dallas, Texas, where he co-anchored the news on WB 33 News at Nine for ten years," Maisel said.

Crespo was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and is a graduate of LSU with a degree in Journalism. Crespo began his career in Meridian, Mississippi, with stops in Tallahassee, Florida, Augusta, Georgia. Tom is married to his wife, Kandice, and has two sons, Alex and Chris. "I'm excited about the opportunity, especially at KTEN and the opportunity to work with a great staff and as News Director I'll be able to teach and grow. The Sherman/Denison area has always been on my family's radar as an area that offers the kind of lifestyle suited for raising our children in Texoma," Crespo says.

Crespo has covered stories ranging from the devastating tornado that ravaged Fort Worth in 2000 to the breakup of the space shuttle Columbia over Texas in 2003. On 9/11 he anchored for 19 hours reporting on the terrorist attack in New York City.
