SHERMAN, TX -- Old Settler's Park was the site for the Rangers, who we introduced you to last weekend, to "buddy up" with the Sherman Bearcats baseball team to play a little ball.
About 25 Rangers came out made some great hits, ran the bases and were safe at home plate.
Last week they teamed up with the Denison Yellow Jackets, of course this week it was Sherman, and Mary Tappan, a guardian of one of the Rangers, says it's a great learning experience for both teams.
"By helping others with disabilities it kind of gives them more knowledge of how fortunate they are to be able to do what they do and to help those that are less fortunate," she said.
Tappan adds the next stop for the Rangers is Gunter as they'll buddy up with the Tigers on April 28.
