Nude Burglar Breaks Glass Displays, Selects Dress at Goodwill

SHERMAN, TX -- It's not often you see a naked man running down Texoma Parkway, but police say that's exactly what turned into an attempted burglary at the Sherman Goodwill Store.

It happened early Monday morning. Sherman  police responded to a call for a broken out window at the Executive Inn. The suspect took off, naked down the street. That's when officers said he broke through a window at the Goodwill Store,  smashing up several displays and himself. Officer say he grabbed for clothes.

"He done just an estimated over 30,000 dollars worth of damage to the store. Because we had to replace the front doors, he tore up several of the display cases and we are going to have to replace all the carpets", says Lisa Gann, Goodwill Employee

Adam Mabrey was found inside the Goodwill Store where he had broken a window to get in and tried on a red dress from the clothing racks. He also proceeded to break the glass displays. He was arrested for burglary and criminal mischief.
